SANCTUARY OF THE BASILICA OF FOURVIERE

The shrine of Notre-Dame de Fourvière is «the Marian soul of Lyon».

The interior of the Basilica of Our Lady of Fourvière consists of two superimposed churches.

At the foot of the Basilica, the esplanade offers a panoramic view of Lyon.

The basilica is classified as a historic monument, the crypt houses eleven statues of Our Lady from shrines all over the world.
