SANCTUARY OF ALENCON

It was in Alençon that the holy couple Louis and Zélie Martin, parents of Saint Thérèse of the Child of Jesus, lived. It was the first couple canonized together by the Church on March 18, 2015.

In Alençon, come and discover the places where Saint Thérèse and her family spent their first years; the Martin family house, the Notre-Dame basilica, the old watchmaking of Louis, the bridge of Sarthe where her parents met… A life imbued with the Gospel.

By being at the service of others and of God in the sacrament of marriage, today the Martin spouses constitute a point of reference for the spouses and for each Christian family.
